Dussehra 2024: ‘Israel-Hamas war cause of concern’, says RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Dussehra 2024: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat performed Shastra Puja in Nagpur, on Saturday. While addressing the event, he mentioned several issues, including the Israel-Hamas war, and Kolkata doctor rape, murder case.
Every year, on Dussehra, the RSS celebrates Vijayadashami by performing Shastra Puja. 2024 marks the 100th year of the celebrations, said the RSS chief, reported PTI.

The RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat said that fake rumours were spurring in Bangladesh about India being a threat to its neighbour. ‘Narrative being spread in Bangladesh that India is a threat’, and that they should join hands with Pakistan to defend themselves, said Bhagwat.
Mohan Bhagwat also brought in the RG Kar rape, murder case where a post-grduate trainee doctor was brutallyraped and murdered on August 9. “In Kolkata doctor’s rape, some tried to protect criminals; nexus of crime, politics and poisonous culture ruining us,” said Mohan Bhagwat.
Earlier Bagwat had also raised the Iran-Israel war, stating that the ‘Israel-Hamas war’ has become a ‘cause of concern’.
The RSS chief also expressed satisfaction about General Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir being held in a peaceful manner. “Due to the people, government and administration, the country’s image, power, fame and position on the world stage is growing. But sinister conspiracies have appeared to destabilise and disturb the country,” said Mohan Bhagwat.
“Everyone should participate in mutual festivals and they should become festivals of the entire society,” also said the RSS chief.
Former ISRO chief, and Padma Bhushan recipient K. Radhakrishnan was the chief guest for the RSS’s annual Dussehra event at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and former ISRO chief K. Sivan were also present at the event.
